Toss some chunky avocado pieces with oil, lime/lemon juice, cracked black pepper, halved cherry/grape tomatoes, onion, sea salt and fresh cilantro. You can add garlic if you like (it does add a great flavour). Serve with some whole wheat corn chips. Alternatively, you can puree this and spread it onto bread for a nice afternoon snack. Watch out! Avocados contain high amounts of mono saturated fat. Although it’s good for your heart, if you’re on a 2,000 calorie a day diet, one avocado can take up half of your daily fat allotment.
